4 leading Indian directors team up again for Netflix anthology

Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee are teaming for “Ghost Stories,” a Netflix anthology of four short horror films. The films which will go into production this month, will most likely release in 2020.

The four previously collaborated on the Netflix anthology “Lust Stories, as well as “Bombay Talkies,” a retrospective documentary celebrating 100 years of Bollywood cinema.

“Ghost Stories” will be produced by RSVP Films in association with Flying Unicorn Entertainment.

Accordinng to The Hollywood Reporter, the four films will be thematically linked with a “hair-raising end.”

The anthology is the latest addition of Indian programming on Netflix and the streaming giant has been expanding its international catalog.
