Mindy Kaling has reportedly bought Frank and Barbara Sinatra’s home in Malibu, California, for a whopping $9.55 million.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Kaling “was in sell mode over the last few years.” In 2017, Kaling bought her Hollywood Hills home for $1.61 million and sold her 1920s Spanish-style spot in Beverly Grove a year later, the report said.
The Sinatra home was a celebrity hangout, the LA Times said. Listing agent Leonard Rabinowitz, a longtime friend of the Sinatras, told the Times that among the stars who regularly visited the estate were Dick Martin, Jack Lemmon, Gregory Peck, Eydie Gormé, Robert Wagner and Dick Van Dyke, listing agent Leonard Rabinowitz, a longtime friend of the Sinatras, told the Times.
The Mercury News, quoting toptenrealestatedeals.com, said the Broad Beach home may have been the Sinatras’ favorite residence. In her book, “Lady Blue Eyes: My Life With Frank,” Barbara Sinatra described life in the beach house and “their poker games where jokes and laughter flowed as fast as the food and drinks,” according to the real estate website.
