It’s not just that ABC drama “Whiskey Cavalier,” starring Indian comedian and actor Vir Das has been shown the boot after the first season. NBC’s “I Feel Bad,” starring Sarayu Blue will not be renewed for a second season either.
TVLine has confirmed that the Amy Poehler comedy has been cancelled after just 13 episodes.” The writing had been on the wall for quite some time,” TVLine reported. “Not only did ‘I Feel Bad’ fail to secure a back order, but its final two episodes were burned off the week between Christmas and New Year’s,” TVLine said.
The series ranked third-to-last among all NBC sitcoms this season, with TVLine calling it “one of the 10 Worst Shows of 2018.”
The show starred Blue as Emet, a wife/mother/business professional who each episode felt not good about something. Supporting Blue were Madhur Jaffrey, Paul Adelstein and Brian George.
Meanwhile, in March, Blue was signed on to co-star opposite Jennifer Morrison in the CBS medical drama pilot “Under the Bridge.” Additionally, Blue is joining the cast of Netflix’s comedy series “Medical Police” as recurring. Deadline reports that Blue will play Ameni, “an OB with a sub-specialty in high-risk pregnancies who is opinionated, relentlessly passionate and enjoys a good fight.”
