Indian comedian and actor Vir Das is among comedians headlining the New York Comedy Festival to be held later this year. Das will join late night show hosts Trevor Noah and Stephen Colbert as well as Nicole Byer, host of Emmy nominated Netflix baking competition “Nailed It!” for the festival to be held at various locations throughout New York City from Nov. 4 through Nov. 10.

“NEW YORK CITY!!! I come back to the @NYComedyFest with my new show, #LOVED. Come see me at the @townhallnyc on November 8th,” Das tweeted.

Along with his comedy tour and Netflix specials, Das has made a name for himself with his dramedy series, "Whiskey Cavalier.” In Bollywood, he was seen in films such as "Delhi Belly,” “Badmaash Company,” “Revolver Rani" and "Shivaay.”

In a recent interview with the Indo-Asian News Service, Das said that as an artist, it is important for him to keep pushing the boundaries. "As an artist, it is important not to get complacent, push the boundaries and seek more of what is out there," Das said.

"I am not content doing just one thing, especially at a time when there is so much content to produce and act in. I look at it as a sort of a personal adventure where I am working across platforms with different material, learning and growing each day," he added.
