Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America celebrates Diwali in New Jersey

Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America held its annual Diwali celebrations Oct. 20 at Royal Albert Palace in Fords, New Jersey. The event at the ball room was attended by an estimated 500 community members.

The Chief guest for the event was Deputy Consul General Shatrughna Sinha who spoke about the BJANA events bringing community close to home. He talked about hosting a business and investors summit for Bihar and Jharkhand.

BJANA President Vinay Singh addressed the guests and told them about BJANA’s fundraising and its charity programs. There were cultural programs, including dance by the women’s group at the event.

Among those present included FIA President Alok Kumar, many past presidents and community leaders. Photo above BJANA women’s group give a dance recital at the event that was said to have been attended by 500 people from the community.
