He is known for his oratory skills and his command over English. Unless you have been hibernating under a rock for eons, you have at some point been exposed to Shahsi Tharoor’s capacious vocabulary.

But have you ever wondered how the Congress MP would fare as a stand-up comedian? If not, fret not. Amazon Prime is giving you a chance to figure that out.

Tharoor is all set to appear as a stand-up comedian in Amazon Prime’s “One Mic Stand.”

But Tharoor won’t be the only one who will be trying his hand at stand-up comedy. He will be joined by music composer Vishal Dadlani, actresses Richa Chadha and Taapsee Pannu, and YouTube star Bhuvan Bam on the show.

According to reports, the celebs will be mentored by comics Sapan Varma, Ashish Shakya, Kunal Kamra Rohan Joshi and Angad Singh Ranyal and have spent a week training under their expertise.

Tharoor has earlier appeared in Netflix’s “Patriot Ac,” where Hasan Minhaj tested his millennial vocabulary. It will surely be interesting to see how he fares as a stand-up comedian.
