Chicago Mayor-elect Lori Lightfoot has appointed Samir Mayekar, cofounder and chief executive officer of NanoGraf Corporation, to her transition team. An adjunct lecturer of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University, Mayekar served as deputy chief of staff of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. government's development finance institution.
